Mannen Proguard Tabi 12 (Composite Toe Tabi)

Jika-Tabi, or Tabi, are a traditional form of split-toe Japanese footwear. At Akado we find that Tabi make excellent fencing shoes as they are light, flexible, and have a slip resistant rubber sole that provides excellent grip on the floor for dynamic footwork.

These Jika tabi were originally designed for civil engineering and construction work. They feature special resin toe caps that provide excellent additional protection that are very well suited to a heavy weapon sparring practice. The use the same basic cloth shoe as our other table with a great almost barefoot feeling.

They have 12 traditional clasps and 5 clasp threads you can fit them to the shape of your calf, The tabi also have a heel pad that increases comfort and reduces shock. Made of durable cotton and polyester and available in black or navy in sizes from: 24cm to 28.0cm in half centimeter measurements.

We highly recommend you measure your foot by placing your heel against a wall and sizing accordingly and if you are close to a particular size, you should go up a size to allow for a little bit of room. Not recommended for wide feet.
