What are we going to do about these Tariffs?

 In case you haven’t heard (somehow…) the government of the US has issued blanket tariffs for products across the globe and many extremly high tariffs on a number of countries. We import nearly all of our products and this is represents colossal impact to our business. If we could afford to just absorb the tariffs we would. But we have always strived to make our products as affordable to you as we can, which means that our profit margins are far too narrow to absorb this cost. But at our core, we are martial artists, and adaptation to challenges is a primary skillset. So, we’re going to make this work. Here we go…

 

In-Stock Items on the Website:

For any item that is in-stock on the website, the price you see is the price that you will pay, every time we update stock, we will update the price to reflect any tariffs. So get those in-stock items while you can!

         Note: For international customers, we cannot track or compensate for any tariffs on imports levied by your country, so please be aware that you may have to pays those tariffs. We will actively work to minimize the impact where we can by using a cost basis value of goods declaration and identifying that these goods are not US origin. But we can’t tell you exactly what any specific non-US tarrif determination might be.

Items on Backorder and Customs:

This is where things get tricky. For any items ordered that we have not already imported, we cannot know exactly what the tariff charged will be when we DO finally receive these items. We will try to keep our prices as updated with the best information that we have, but for any backorder or custom order, the price paid at the time of checkout may not be the final price. Once we receive the products and the tariffs have been assessed, we reach out to you  with updated prices and will issue you an additional “Tariff” invoice so that you can pay only the amount of tariff that charged on your order. If the tariff is too much, we will immediately refund your full purchase price paid. No questions asked.
